Clients
Every organisation has an opportunity and a role to play in the sustainability transformation. Deloitte guides organisations to a more sustainable future by measuring their impacts, such as, carrying out a comprehensive feasibility study for NortH2. NortH2 is a consortium that is currently developing the largest green hydrogen project in Europe, aimed at large-scale production of green hydrogen by farming wind at sea. Our study will lay the foundations for a truly viable green hydrogen economy. We are also building net-zero strategies, developing circular economies and sustainable supply chains, reimagining business models, and much more. Together we can build a more sustainable future.
Sustainable operations
Deloitte recognises change starts within. This is why Deloitte has set higher standards as an organisation. One of the ways in which we address the climate crisis and help the world achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement, is through our World Climate initiative. Our strategy to drive responsible climate choices within our organisation and beyond. The initiative consists of four pillars:
Net-zero: we aim to be carbon neutral in 2025 for housing and mobility, and net zero on the longer term.
Embed sustainability: we align our climate policies, practices, and actions across our organisation with our sustainability ambitions.
Empowering individuals: we will empower our people to be better informed around professional and personal climate change impacts.
Engaging ecosystems: we will collaborate with clients, alliance partners, NGOs, industry groups, suppliers, and others to accelerate the sustainability transition.
Society
Through the Deloitte Impact Foundation our people can use their core competences, knowledge and network in societal initiatives to make an impact in the fields of education & employment, sustainability, and inclusive society. With our international sustainability-related initiatives we help protect our natural environment and society by addressing the root causes and effects of global warming and degradation of land, water and air. This way, we can support future generations to live in a healthy and sustainable environment.
Through the Deloitte Impact Foundation we share our core competences, knowledge and networks in societal initiatives. By this, we aim to make an impact in the fields of education & employment, sustainability and inclusive society. For example, we partnered with The Ocean Cleanup to help them shape their business operations in a responsible way.
