About Deloitte
As part of our Employee Value Proposition, Deloitte offers its employees the opportunity to make choices in their employment benefits. Flexible Benefits Budget Scheme contributes to this.
Suit your needs
The Flexible Benefits Budget can be used to suit your needs. For example, you can choose to purchase additional leave or get pay on top of regular salary. The flexible budget can also be used to pay for other benefits such as a bicycle. The Flexible Benefits Budget offers employees the freedom to make choices in the benefits package that suit their personal (work and private) situation.
Each employee receives a monthly accrual of a Flexible Benefits Budget (hereinafter: the budget) amounting to a certain percentage of the actual gross monthly salary paid. This monthly accrual is displayed in the My Benefits My Choice (MBMC) portal and occurs with the payroll processing in the respective month. The allocation and percentage shall be reset annually by the Board with an effective date of June 1.

Principles
The following principles apply to the allocation of the budget:
The budget is calculated based on the effective date of the employment contract and will be made available through the My Benefits My Choice portal during each month's payroll processing;
Upon joining the company, the employee receives the first budget with the first payroll processing. If the employee doesn't join on the first working day of the month but on a later date, the budget will be calculated on a pro rata basis and awarded in the next month;
No budget is accrued on any applicable allowances, profit sharing, bonuses and other compensation;
The monthly accrued budget (and percentage) takes into account the accrual of vacation pay;
The budget is not pensionable and does not count towards the disability insurance base;
When the employment contract is terminated in any way or for any reason, the budget will not count towards the calculation of the transitional compensation;
Every month, a portion of the budget is accrued. Employees can see how much budget they have accrued on their pay stub and in the My Benefits My Choice portal.

Range of options
Employees can spend the budget in a variety of ways:
Payment: you can choose to have the budget paid out, either in whole or in part. This can be done monthly, in a specific month, or the employee can save the budget. It is then paid out automatically at the end of the fiscal year.
Buying additional vacation hours: you can choose to buy vacation hours and determine at the beginning of the fiscal year whether the budget will be spent monthly to buy vacation hours or whether you will choose to buy additional vacation hours in a specific month.
Spend on other benefits: you can choose to spend the budget on other benefits such as participation in the Bicycle Plan scheme.
