For this Webinar, we will focus on Duty of Care and its impact on the financial sector.

The Regulatory Risk Webinar takes places via Zoom on Thursday August 6th. The lectures lasts one hour and covers a presentation on a hot topic, presented by one of our experts.

Thursday August 6th, 13:00 – 14:00 hrs:                                                Duty of Care

Most financial products and services have an impact on the personal lives of clients and are characterized as complex due to their structure and the duration of the use of the product. As a result, financial institutions are under much scrutiny with regard to Duty of Care – more so than other non-financial institutions. Duty of Care stipulates the obligation of a financial institution to conduct business carefully and with the best interest of the client in mind. In practice, it is sometimes difficult to distinguish between what the client wants and what the client actually needs. And it is particularly difficult because the needs of the client can change over time. In this masterclass, we will focus on Duty of Care and its impact on the financial sector.
