With your personal strengths, view of the world and unique personality. You need the following qualifications for the position of (Senior) Consultant:
- At least 2 years (Consultant) / 4 year (Senior Consultant) of relevant experience;
- A completed Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, (Technical) Business Administration, Econometrics or related Master;
- A solid general financial knowledge and an understanding of value creation and business models;
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a focus on quality and outcomes;
- Excellent skills in Microsoft PowerPoint (clear visualisation of complex results) and Excel (modelling and analysis); experience with VBA, Python or Power BI is a plus; and
- Excellent command of the Dutch or English language, both spoken and written. Proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
What impact will you make?
As a (Senior) Consultant within Valuation & Modeling, you will be part of a team that focuses on various valuation issues and financial models. You will have opportunities for professional development, work closely with colleagues across Deloitte M&A and engage with senior clients and stakeholders. The Valuation & Modelling team has specific expertise in Energy & Infrastructure, Financial Services and Consumer Business, and you will have ample opportunity to contribute in these areas. Our valuations provide clients with insights for certain investment decisions, for instance, in the context of buying or selling a company or division, or during a financial or tax restructuring. Additionally, we conduct value analyses for shareholder and commercial disputes as well as financial reporting issues. As a Valuator, you engage in understanding the activities, financial performance, and key drivers of a business to subsequently translate these into a well-supported valuation.

How do you do this?
As a (Senior) Consultant, your responsibilities include:
- Developing business and market analyses and crafting value analyses into structured presentations for clients;
- Gathering relevant information from clients and challenging them on the information and analyses;
- Assessing and developing financial valuation ratios and conducting benchmark analyses of comparable publicly traded companies and transactions; and
- Creating financial (cash-flow) models, particularly for valuations and restructurings.
You will be part of a growing, ambitious and diverse team and will work in varying multi-disciplinary teams, composed of (cross-border) teams, national and multinational clients and valuation colleagues from our joint venture located in India. You build productive relationships with colleagues from other service lines, clients, other valuation experts/practices and international valuation experts within Deloitte.
