  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience, mostly in consulting and the financial sector, preferably at an insurer, pension provider, or asset manager;
  • a university Master’s degree and/or MBA;
  • demonstrable experience in running business transformations, optimizing core processes, and executing complex projects and programs;
  • a broad network within the pension and insurance sector and an understanding of current trends, challenges, and developments;
  • excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
  • affinity with entrepreneurship and the further development and growth of a team.

What impact will you make?

As a (Senior) Manager, you lead multidisciplinary Deloitte teams to deliver value to our clients throughout the entire lifecycle of transformations. This starts with defining an operational strategy, followed by (re)designing, optimizing, and implementing the operating model and core processes. You build meaningful and lasting relationships with our clients and are an excellent project manager with industry expertise. With a strategic perspective and (digital) technologies as a starting point, you contribute to defining future-proof solutions to make our clients more efficient, customer-oriented, and sustainable.

Together with your team, you will develop innovative and scalable improvements for our clients in the pension and insurance sector. How do you do this?

  • You lead project teams and are responsible for planning, budgeting, and the quality of deliverables
  • You ensure proper project structure and facilitate top management approval of proposed solutions.
  • You manage day-to-day interaction with client leadership, understand risks and challenges, and provide effective solutions based on experience.
  • You develop and maintain relationships with top management of clients, lead business development activities, and contribute to proposal and pricing strategy development.
  • You guide and coach junior and mid-level team members, actively participate in the staffing process, and support the recruitment and retention of talent within the team.
  • You bring in-depth knowledge of pension and insurance products, processes, and systems, as well as those of asset managers, and continue developing this within the team.
  • You have a vision on developments in the financial sector and the challenges and opportunities they bring.

When a recruiter sees enough of a match with your profile, we will ask you to complete an online assessment. By playing four online games, we can see which qualities and talents you possess and whether they align with the position you've applied for.
Step 4: The interview
Depending on the scores of the career scan, you will be invited for a first interview with the recruiter. The first interview is held with a recruiter and someone from the team. We are curious about who you are, what you have done and what you expect from a new job. We also give you more insight into what we are looking for and what the tasks are that belong to the position. If both parties would like to discuss it further, you will be invited for a next interview. In these conversations, we go deeper into the content. What is your talent and what skills do you manage? You can during one of the next interviews get a case study.
Step 5: The offer
When all conversations have been satisfactorily completed (for both parties), an offer will follow. The recruiter will draw up the contract for you which you will receive digitally.
