Are you an experienced Proposal Advisor?
The Target & Pursuit team is a part of the Deloitte International Audit practice and we will compete for and win audit tenders. Legislation will drive mandatory auditor rotations in the upcoming years and will increase pursuit related activity. Therefore the team is looking for an experienced Proposal Advisor. In this position you will work closely with the Client Service Audit Bid Teams and will guide your colleagues through targeting and proposal efforts and will provide hands-on support throughout the Pursuit lifecycle.
What can you expect?
Overall you are the owner of the pursuit timeline. To manage these pursuits successfully, it means you are the central coordinator between all parties (Lead Audit partner, Bid teams and Pursuit Strategist) that are involved in the pursuits. You can think about coordinate, capture and communicate track key output from planning and strategy sessions and you will assist with client- facing activities, by providing input and preparation for client meetings and also ensure that key-actions are followed up. The proposal advisor will manage all logistical aspects of the pursuit, this includes the development, production and delivery of all high quality bid content. Off course you will apply brand and legal compliance standards to all the pursuit related materials by leveraging all available tools and recourses and you ensure that all materials are produced in a timely manner. You will keep all internal governance procedures in mind. Last but not least you will be working with enthusiastic and professional colleagues.
What do we expect?
- Bachelor’s degree is required, advanced degree preferred;
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience as a project manager or proposal manager;
- You have effective organizational and project management skills with a great eye for details;
- Experience in the audit sector is a plus;
- Experience managing competitive tenders is a plus;
- You have strong project management skills with a proven record at a professional services organization;
- You have strong relationship management and communication skills;
- You have excellent English and Dutch language communications skills, verbally and in writing;
- You have the ability to prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment and negotiate across levels;

The international practice
The team of the international practice (Core Audit) provides services to both large, international and listed companies and more nationally oriented organizations within several industries (both FSI and non-FSI). The practices are located in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven.
