From day one, you are engaging with senior stakeholders and clients who expect you to get a quick understanding of their problems by asking the right (often tough) questions and help them solve those. The biggest challenge of being consultants is not only that we need to solve difficult issues for our clients, but also that we need to solve them together with the different client stakeholders who might view the same issues from a different perspective. It is our job, and a very critical one too, that we secure the buy-in of those stakeholders involved in the project to make it a success in the end.'
