How?

  • During the first two years of the traineeship, you will develop into a professional of the future. This journey involves discovering unique strengths, learning

  • how to perform optimally in teams, and making a real impact in the world of taxation

  • and law. During the first year, you will be heavily involved with one specific specific Tax

  • or Legal team, allowing you to expand your technical knowledge through on-the-job

  • learning and meaningful assignments for clients;

  • After the first year, you will rotate to a second team. This rotation provides a valuable

  • opportunity to explore different specialisations within Tax & Legal, further develop skills,

  • and gain a broader understanding of the opportunities within this dynamic sector. By

  • rotating, you will not only expand their network within Tax & Legal but also enhance your

  • skills and knowledge. We are happy to discuss the possibilities;

  • After the first two years, your development continues. In the following three years, the

  • focus shifts to further developing personal, professional, and leadership skills. Various

  • training sessions are offered, including inspiring keynotes, interactive workshops, and

  • deep-dive sessions. Finally, there will be an opportunity to participate in learning

  • programmes at Deloitte University in Paris!

When?

It's possible to start as an Analyst within the Tax Traineeship any month of the year. You will then join the EVOLVE Development Program in March or September. Within Legal, please keep in mind that you can only start as an Analyst in either March or September.

Year 1: Learning to Be My Own Professional

In the first year of the programme 'Learning to Be My Own Professional', you will begin with the EVOLVE Boost Day, where you get to know your group and the programme better. Additionally, there will be a keynote on optimising mental resilience, along with training sessions focused on concentration, communication, and feedback. There is also the opportunity for personal coaching conversations. The year concludes with a two-day deep dive at an external location, allowing for further exploration of personal development.

Year 2: Interacting With My Team

In the second year, 'Interaction With My Team', you will delve into various modules. You will engage in a session on communication, where you learn to communicate effectively within teams. Additionally, there is a focus on formulating the right questions, giving and receiving feedback, stress management, and presentation skills. An intervision session is also included, centred around the growth portfolio, allowing participants to share insights and feedback with colleagues.

Year 3: My Career Path

In the third year, 'My Career Path', ..you will continue your pressional journey by taking part in various development opportunities and achieving significant milestones. The year begins with a two-day deep dive at an external location with your group, where you are challenged on multiple fronts. Following that, there is a workshop on stakeholder management and a keynote on taking ownership and personal effectiveness. Additionally, you have the opportunity to take part in the Explore programme at our Deloitte University in Paris, a valuable experience that will further enhance your development.

Year 4: How Do I Fit in This Big World?

In the fourth year, 'How Do I Fit in This Big World?', you will focus on sales, leadership, and the impact you can have on others. This year offers additional opportunities, such as secondments or involvement in various impactful projects related to sustainability, innovation, and data initiatives. These experiences will help you understand your role within the broader organisation and provide opportunities to further develop your skills.

Year 5: Development of Leadership Capabilities

In the fifth year, 'Development of Leadership Capabilities', the focus shifts to enhancing leadership skills, partly through participation in the Empower programme at Deloitte University in Paris, along with workshops on stakeholder management and strategic thinking. You will engage in booster sessions and workshops covering topics such as sales impact, dealing with resistance, and celebrating your transition to leadership. Electives and add-ons may include Global Tax & Legal programmes, reverse mentoring, and cross-business courses on situational leadership, coaching fundamentals, and relationship mastery.
