With your personal strengths, view of the world and unique personality. You need the following qualifications for the position of Junior Software Engineer (Cloud):
a technical Master’s degree (e.g. Computer Science, Information Science, Software Engineering) or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant work experience;
Proficiency in at least one programming language; experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP) is a plus;
familiarity with DevOps practices such as unit testing and working with CI/CD pipelines;
strong communication skills; an excellent command of written and spoken English (and preferably Dutch).

As a Junior Software Engineer at Deloitte, you will transform client ideas into secure, scalable solutions on AWS, Azure and GCP for organisations across the public and private sectors. By automating environments with infrastructure as code, building robust CI/CD pipelines and writing clean application code, you will enable faster releases, create business value, and make great impact for our clients.

How do you do this?
You will join Deloitte’s Engineering, AI & Data (EAI&D) practice, collaborating with multinational teams and Deloitte Global Delivery Centers. This global network places you on high-impact projects across diverse industries and service lines for our clients worldwide. Working side by side with cloud architects, data engineers, and industry specialists, you will design and build cloud solutions. You will also have access to our innovation labs, cloud certifications and tailored training programmes to accelerate your growth. These are some of your responsibilities:
translate client requirements into scalable and secure cloud architectures on AWS, Azure or GCP;
design, build and test cloud-native applications with Spring Boot, .NET, Go, Java, Python, JavaScript, and React.
set up and automate cloud platform infrastructure (IaC) with Terraform, Bicep or CloudFormation.
collaborate with data, security and UX specialists to deliver end-to-end solutions.
monitor production environments, analyse incidents and drive continuous improvement.
contribute to knowledge sharing, guild sessions, and internal engineering initiatives.
