Be the true you

You naturally enjoy discovering new ways to solve complex problems and persuade others with well founded viewpoints. Above all, you dare to be yourself — the real you — with your own strengths, worldview and personality. In addition, as a (Senior) Manager you have:

  • A university master’s degree and/or MBA and at least 6 years of relevant (consultancy) work experience, the majority of which in the public sector, preferably within a NATO organisation or agency;
  • Demonstrable experience in guiding business transformations, optimising core processes and executing complex projects and programmes;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely, manage conflicting priorities and navigate complex situations;
  • A broad network within the public sector and an understanding of current trends, challenges and developments;
  • Experience leading (multidisciplinary) teams and excellent people management capabilities;
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, spoken and written.

What impact will you make?

As a (Senior) Manager you lead multidisciplinary Deloitte teams to deliver value to our clients in the public sector throughout the entire lifecycle of transformations. This starts with defining an operational strategy and continues with (re)designing, optimising and implementing the operating model, core processes and IT resources. You build meaningful and sustainable relationships with our clients and are an excellent project manager with broad expertise in the public sector, with a particular focus on the challenges facing NATO. With a strategic perspective and digital technologies as a starting point, you contribute to defining futureproof solutions that make our clients more efficient, more customer focused and more sustainable.

Together with your team you develop innovative and scalable improvements so clients can respond to rapidly evolving technologies, the fast changing geopolitical landscape and the tight labour market within the public sector. Within our team you will have the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from industry experts with a range of knowledge and experience. You will work, learn and grow in an innovative culture that thrives on shared success, diverse ways of thinking and offers numerous opportunities to advance your career.

    You can upload your CV and a motivation letter. We will send you a confirmation when we have received all your details.
    Step 3: The assessment
    Video thumbnail
    When a recruiter sees enough of a match with your profile, we will ask you to complete an online assessment. By playing four online games, we can see which qualities and talents you possess and whether they align with the position you've applied for.
    Step 4: The interview
    Video thumbnail
    Depending on the scores of the career scan, you will be invited for a first interview with the recruiter. The first interview is held with a recruiter and someone from the team. We are curious about who you are, what you have done and what you expect from a new job. We also give you more insight into what we are looking for and what the tasks are that belong to the position. If both parties would like to discuss it further, you will be invited for a next interview. In these conversations, we go deeper into the content. What is your talent and what skills do you manage? You can during one of the next interviews get a case study.
    Step 5: The offer
    When all conversations have been satisfactorily completed (for both parties), an offer will follow. The recruiter will draw up the contract for you which you will receive digitally.
